Real Madrid faces problem in Champions League final
Real Madrid qualified for the Champions League final at Wembley on 1 June last Tuesday. The Spanish club does face a problem for its home fans.
Real Madrid can win the most important cup in European football for the 15th time, but it will have to get past Borussia Dortmund. For supporters who cannot make the journey to the venue of the final, Real set up large screens at its own Santiago Bernabéu in previous finals where they could watch the match together. For 1 June, however, there is a problem.
Indeed, on 29 and 30 May, the Bernabéu is occupied: Taylor Swift is playing in Madrid as part of her 'Eras Tour'. Even 48 hours between the US singer's concert and setting up the giant screens might not be enough. It was already reported on the New Bernabéu's X account that the time it will take to disassemble Taylor Swift's stage and set up the screens is now being looked at. "But by no means is Taylor Swift's stage a small one," it says.
