Dramatic death for NHL ice hockey player
The world of the NHL and ice hockey is in shock. A Columbus Blue Jackets player died in a car accident, along with his brother, while cycling. The next day, their sister was due to get married.
On August 30, professional NHL ice hockey player Johnny Gaudreau, 31, and his brother Matthew Gaudreau, 29, were killed in a car accident. They were cycling in New Jersey when they were hit by a car at around 8pm. The driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Terrible mourning
They were originally from this region, near Pennsylvania. The next day, they were expected for their sister's wedding in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania). In addition to being a terrible family tragedy, it's also a shock in the world of ice hockey. The leaders of his Blue Jackets club in Columbus (Ohio) are devastated. Johnny Gaudreau was nicknamed "Johnny Hockey" because of his brilliance on the ice. He was also part of the US national team.
