Next month, Rafael Nadal will bid farewell to tennis. For what will (possibly) be his last match, tickets are in hot demand.
Nadal, 38, will play his last match in the Davis Cup Finals from 19 to 24 November. At the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena in Málaga, Spain will take on the Netherlands in the quarterfinals. Tickets for that match are on sale on resale sites.
But those who want to see the Spanish tennis icon at work once more in real life will have to dig very deep into their pockets: on Viagogo, the cheapest tickets are offered for more than 1,000 euros (1,100 US dollars). For a ticket in the very best seats, the crazy sum of.... 88,000 euros (96,000 US dollars).
And it's not even guaranteed that you will actually attend Nadal's very last match: if Spain wins against the Netherlands, Spain will advance to the semi-finals and then perhaps to the final.
