Pervert kidnaps and rapes young girl before planning to burn her alive
A man has been sentenced to more than 45 years in prison for kidnapping and raping a 12-year-old girl on her way to school in the Brazilian city of Luziania last year.
He will also have to pay compensation to the child. His partner, who helped him, was also sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The girl was rescued thanks to the city's security cameras that helped identify the man who was dragging a suitcase covered with a sheet with the child inside in broad daylight.
These images helped save the little girl who was handcuffed in one of the rooms of the pervert's house. Sexual objects, cameras and a can of gasoline were also found in the room.
