Tourist (48) falls into sinkhole and disappears: already missing for 5 days
A 48-year-old tourist from India suddenly disappeared in a split second in a sinkhole while just walking along the sidewalk through Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The woman fell into the 8-meter-deep sinkhole and still could not be found. She has since disappeared for five days now. Rescue workers have been working for days but cannot find her. The chances of her being alive are virtually zero.
Slippers found
Authorities announced Sunday night that rescue workers are using pressure washers to clean up debris in a sewage pit located about 70 meters downstream from where the incident occurred. Authorities also informed that the search for the woman will continue until she is found. So far, only a pair of slippers belonging to her have been found.
