This country is paying you to change your life
A European country is offering a generous financial incentive and citizenship to anyone willing to move to a village with just 253 residents.
The village of Albinen, located in the Swiss canton of Valais, is offering a bonus of 20,000 Swiss francs (approximately 22,000 dollars) to anyone under the age of 45 who decides to settle in this charming, picturesque community.
Additionally, the village will provide an extra 9,000 Swiss francs (around 10,000 dollars) for every child born there.
However, there are conditions: applicants must purchase a property worth at least 200,000 Swiss francs (around 226,000 dollars) and commit to living in the village for at least 10 years while also becoming a naturalized citizen.
This initiative was introduced to combat the region’s declining population and to address the emigration of skilled workers.
"Switzerland is routinely mentioned as one of the safest and happiest countries in the world," said Wayne Mills, Head of Operations at Seven Seas Worldwide.
"Albinen is set right in the middle of the stunning Swiss Alps, so if you fancy enjoying a serene lifestyle in one of the world’s most beautiful countries—snow-capped mountains included—consider moving to Albinen!," he added.
