US government reveals 21 UFO sightings can’t be explained
The U.S. government has officially revealed that 21 UFO sightings remain unexplained.
This week, the Pentagon and Congress received a report detailing over 700 UFO sightings, compiled by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). The office, tasked with investigating hundreds of reports received over the past year, authored the document.
While many cases were easily resolved, the AARO has not been able to explain 21 of them. These include reports of a green fireball, a multicolored jellyfish-like object, and a silver missile-shaped object measuring 6 feet (1.8 meters) spotted in the sky.
Despite the lack of answers for these cases, the AARO continues its efforts to provide rational explanations.
One high-profile case, the "GOFAST" incident from 2017, has since been solved by the Pentagon. Dr. Jon Kosloski, director of the AARO, explained that the phenomenon was caused by parallax, a visual effect that distorts the perception of an object based on the observer’s viewpoint.
