Party holiday starts immediately with tragedy for Dutch teenagers in Lloret de Mar
Twelve Dutch teenagers aged 18 and 19 arrived in the Spanish town of Lloret de Mar on Saturday for a wonderful party holiday. So on arrival, the enthusiastic teenagers from Venlo immediately wanted to take a group photo on the balcony of the villa they had rented together. But that immediately went wrong.
Five of the teenagers leaned against a railing, which subsequently broke off. Three of them fell to the first floor in the process and were injured. Two of them were seriously injured and are still in hospital. One of the teenagers sustained fractures in his face and has a contusion in his head. Another broke a kneecap and a vertebra and is still in hospital.
