Pentagon has solved UFO mystery
The Pentagon has solved one of its most intricate investigations into UFOs.
During a congressional hearing held this Tuesday, Dr. Jon Kosloski, director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, revisited the case of the "GOFAST" video, which surfaced in 2017.
The video shows an object flying at an incredible speed over water. However, Dr. Kosloski revealed that there is a rational explanation for the footage and that it is misleading.
"Through a very careful geospatial intelligence analysis and using trigonometry, we assess with high confidence that the object is not actually close to the water, but is rather closer to 13,000 feet," Jon Kosloski explained.
While the object remains unidentified, Jon Kosloski explained that a phenomenon known as parallax—an effect that alters the perceived position or shape of an object depending on the observer's viewpoint—caused the flying object to appear unusual.
The "GOFAST" clip was recorded by a fighter jet operating from the USS Theodore Roosevelt, which was stationed off the east coast of the United States at the time.
