Grandma buys Oasis tickets for granddaughter... and loses 3,000 euros

A 79-year-old grandmother from the UK wanted to surprise her granddaughter with tickets to an Oasis concert next year. She thought the tickets were 105 euros each, but later discovered that more than 3,100 euros had been taken from her account.

The woman had bought the tickets through Gigsberg, a secondary ticket marketplace, rather than the official point of sale.

Although Gigsberg indicated that the prices and conditions were clear, the grandparents, who live on a modest pension, were shocked by the hefty price. The granddaughter tried to find a solution, but initially there seemed to be no possibility of a refund.

Eventually, Gigsberg decided to exceptionally refund the full amount. Unfortunately, the concerts are now sold out, leaving the granddaughter without tickets.
