"First there will be silence in the Kremlin, then hysteria"
The European Parliament has adopted a resolution calling on EU countries to immediately lift all restrictions on Ukrainian strikes deep into Russia.
How can the Russian Federation respond to attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces with long-range missiles on its territory and should it fear further escalation and a nuclear strike?
Military expert and analyst, Ivan Stupak, commented on the potential first hours if the US gives Ukraine the green light to use long-range weapons:
"If we talk about the first day, it will obviously be hysterical. At first there will be silence, then there will be hysteria, I think there will be no escalation. Nobody will participate in this war. Germany donated tanks. Has it become a participant in this war? No.
The Netherlands, which handed over the planes? No. On the other hand, the Iranians and North Korea are transferring their ballistic missiles to Russia. Are they participants in this war?"
