Flemish tourist found dead in Belgian province
A passerby discovered the lifeless body of a 64-year-old woman in the Espierres canal in Estaimpuis, in the Walloon province of Hainaut.
The fire brigade recovered the body of the 64-year-old woman from the small Espierres canal. It seems that she is a Flemish tourist who was travelling alone. She had a camera with her while visiting the region. The police are keeping all leads open. An external examination by a doctor appointed by the prosecutor should determine the cause of death. The Flemish daily Het Nieuwsblad claims that the death is suspicious.
