“Delon explored everything when it came to sexuality”
The book entitled “Les derniers mystères de Delon” (Delon's Last Mysteries) comes out this Thursday, November 14. In it, biographer, Bernard Violet, retraces the actor's life, going back over certain persistent rumors (making them very real indeed).
In particular, Bernard Violet revisits Delon's bisex.uality, of which he is absolutely convinced. "The testimonies concur and make me think that Delon was bisexual, at least during the first thirty years of his life. They overlap and come from credible personalities,” he told Le Parisien.
The author reveals what he knows or thinks he knows about the French actor's intimate life. "What's striking in the story of Alain Delon's early life is the omnipresence of gays, both in the cinema and in the press (...) A free-spirited and wildly ambitious character, the actor lived his bise.xuality, probably out of taste and also with a hint of arrivisme. I think that considering the rebel that he was, he explored everything in terms of se.xuality, with women, with men or in threesomes."
And while fans are already up in arms about this literary release, denouncing it as a buzz book, written to “make money on the back of a dead man”, Delon's family remains silent.
