The actor found unresponsive in his pool: we now know why
On the evening of August 3, two employees found actor Zac Efron unconscious in a swimming pool in Ibiza.
They immediately pulled him out of the water and called for help. The American star was then taken to the emergency room "as a precautionary measure". After 24 hours of observation, Efron had received permission to return to his villa, in a stable condition. Today, the actor is doing well and assures it on his networks:
"Happy and healthy. Thank you for your well-wishes," Zac Efron said in an Instagram story.
According to the TMZ website, the star of "Down to Earth with Zac Efron" and "Family Affair", was at the time of the accident enjoying his vacation in a villa located on Spain's famous party island. A swimming incident described as "minor" by the star's spokesperson. In fact, it was a dive gone wrong. "Sources close to the situation tell us that Zac had gone swimming with friends very early Saturday morning in Ibiza when he decided to take a dive," relays the media L'Indépendant. His chest hit the bottom of the pool and the actor apparently ingested "a large amount of water".
In 2013, Zac Efron had already had a bad fall on a granite fountain on his property. He then broke his jaw, according to the French media Demotivateur.
