She throws her disabled son (6) into a river full of crocodiles
Unthinkable and particularly gruesome. On Sunday, the lifeless body of a disabled 6-year-old child was found in the Kali River (south-west India). His mother allegedly fed him to crocodiles.
On Saturday night, Ravi and Savitri, aged 26 and 27, got into an argument with each other. Ravi allegedly insulted his wife and blamed her for bringing a disabled child into the world. Completely upset by her partner's words, Savitri allegedly made the decision to throw her infant son into "a drain that flows into the Kali River, the biotope of numerous crocodiles", reports CNews. Witnesses to the horrific scene immediately alerted the police. According to The Times of India, the couple was known in the area for their frequent arguments over their infant son.
Ravi and Savitri were arrested. The body of the young victim was taken to the mortuary to ascertain the exact circumstances of the death. The boy was reportedly found with significant injuries, bite marks and a missing hand.
