Russian soldier attacks own commander then defects to Ukrainian army
A Russian soldier suddenly threw a hand grenade into the room where his fellow soldiers and superiors were sleeping in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. This can be seen in video footage that has been leaked.
The Russian soldier was demoralized by the behavior of Russian troops and the army leadership.
After the blast, a lot of chaos ensued and several soldiers reached for their guns. Soldier "Silver" appears to have thrown the grenade. After all, he wanted nothing more to do with the Russian army, having allegedly witnessed "criminal acts by his unit and commander. Therefore, after the grenade explosion, he first injured his superior before transferring to the Ukrainian army.
