Russia goes wild: 700 bombs in a single week
The Ukrainian president himself made the announcement two days ago. The Russian army has hit Ukraine hard: nearly 700 guided aerial bombs and over 100 drones have damaged the Ukrainian territory in just one week.
Russia has launched “around 700 guided aerial bombs and more than 100 Shahed-type drones to attack Ukraine in this week alone,” said Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram on Sunday. He also states in the same post that "Our people suffer every day from Russian terror. And our people deserve fair and reliable protection against this scourge”. A way of reiterating his call for help and support from his Western allies.
The Ukrainian president asserts that only the delivery of long-range missiles and air defense systems will provide effective protection for the country. Since Saturday, air attacks by Russian forces against 4 administrative regions have left 11 people dead and 41 wounded in Ukraine.
