Air alert in large parts of Ukraine: 'Biggest Russian air strike since war started'
The air alert sounded in large parts of Ukraine during the night from Monday to Tuesday because of possible missile and bomber attacks.
Indeed, on Monday morning the Kremlin had launched a massive air attack on all of Ukraine. Kiev was also targeted. The Russians used missiles, cruise missiles and drones. According to Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski, Russia used more than 100 missiles and about 100 drones. More than half of Ukraine's regions were hit. The Ukrainians' air defense system is holding up for now.
It was the largest Russian airstrike since the start of the war. So writes the Ukrainian Defense Ministry on X.
