Real Madrid celebrate Christmas without M'Bappé
The president of Real Madrid invited his team to the traditional end-of-year meal, an occasion that outlined the season's challenges for club.
For Real Madrid, the immediate objective is to regain 1st place in La Liga from Barcelona before the end of the year, and to win the Intercontinental Cup.
Florentino Perez thanked the team for representing Real Madrid's values once again this season. One notable absence was that of Kylian Mbappé. The French player missed his first Christmas party with his new club due to the flu, prompting him to return home to avoid a possible contagion within the team.
