The incredible gift from a deceased landlady
Bram from the Dutch town of Vaals cannot believe his luck as he has just been gifted the house he rented with his children.
The landlady died at the age of 87 in February and decided to gift the property to her tenant Bram. Consequently, he is over the moon, especially as he was definitely not expecting it. "I met her once. So basically we didn't know each other at all. And that I then get a house as a gift just like that... That in these times, when you have to be bold to get ahead, such kind people exist, that is heartwarming," he responds in De Telegraaf.
By the way, Bram would not be the only lucky one. According to the Dutch press, the woman had no immediate family and owned at least 16 flats or houses, donating them all away to tenants.
