“Hands off my daughter”: Kim Jong-Un’s terrifying new ban

Just a few days ago, North Korea addressed its citizens. A new ban has just been issued, regarding women's style of dress and appearance in the country.

The announcement was made during a video conference. According to some sources relayed by Radio Free Asia, up to now women only had the choice between 18 different hairstyles, but now, they are strictly forbidden to have the same hairstyle and clothing style as the daughter of the North Korean president, Ju-ae, future heir to power.

Today, women can no longer wear the "rooster hairstyle", a hairstyle that consists of tying part of the hair on top of the head, while letting part fall down, like a fringe covering the forehead, specifies French media Demotivateur. There is also no question of wearing clothes that reveal skin.

By doing this, Kim Jong-Un intends to offer his 11-year-old daughter a unique clothing style. In order to justify this new regulation, the dictator explains in his video that mimicry is an “anti-socialist phenomenon that has a negative impact on society.” North Korean women who take the risk of associating their style with that of Ju-ae also take the risk of a six-month sentence of forced labor or re-education in prison.
