Baseball game turns into tragedy: little boy (5) flies away with bouncy castle

A five-year-old boy died at the Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf near US Washington when a violent gust of wind lifted into the air the bouncy castle he was playing on.

The bouncy castle had been placed on the stands during a baseball game. However, a sudden gust of wind caused the bouncy castle to fly up to six metres into the air. Just then, a group of children were playing on the castle. A five-year-old boy was still transferred to the local children's hospital, but all help came too late. He died of his injuries later in the night. A second child got away with injuries and is not in mortal danger.

Emergency services were at the scene at the time of the accident, and they also received help from trainers and players to administer first aid to the children.
