UK: Snowstorm expected for Christmas
The UK might wake up to a blanket of snow on Christmas morning, with a snowstorm forecast just hours before the festive day.
According to WXCHARTS maps, both snow and rain are expected in the coming weeks.
On Christmas Eve, around 6 PM, a snowstorm is predicted to stretch from the town of Wick in Scotland down to Birmingham in England.
Scotland could see snowfall at a rate of 4 cm per hour, with Glasgow and Edinburgh likely to be blanketed in white.
England won’t escape the snow either, with up to 2 cm expected in the northwest. Birmingham is also forecast to see snowfall, while Wales is likely to experience heavy rain during this period.
