Shark decapitates 16-year-old spearfisherman
16-year-old Jahmari Reid was killed while going spearfishing off the coast of Jamaica.
The Jamaican teenager was off the beach in tourist-famous Montego Bay when a shark struck mercilessly on Monday, 26 August.
His lifeless and badly mangled body was found in the water the day after the attack. The boy's head and left arm had been bitten off. Clearly the work of a shark.
Fishermen spotted a large tiger shark near the body at sea. It is not yet clear whether this animal was responsible for the attack.
