Drunk man kills his wife with a ballpoint pen
In Arlon, in the Belgian province of Luxembourg, a man murdered his wife on Tuesday night. The murder weapon? A ballpoint pen.
The man, no stranger to police forces because of his alcohol abuse, attacked his wife around midnight in a drunken stupor. He struck her in the chest with a ballpoint pen, a local newspaper reported.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and tried to resuscitate the badly injured woman. Those attempts were in vain: the woman died of her injuries on the spot. The man was arrested.
