"Parents with children must leave eastern Ukraine NOW"
The Russians are killing anyone who crosses their path in their invasion of Ukraine. The country is being bulldozed and the elderly and children are certainly not being spared.
As a result of the Russian army's advance in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk in recent days and weeks, Governor Vadim Filashkin on Sunday called on parents with children to leave some places.
"The enemy is bombing the towns and villages in this area every day. Therefore, it has been decided to evacuate the children with their parents, or other legal representatives," the governor said. "In total, we have to evacuate 744 children with their families from four communities to safer areas in Ukraine."
Governor Filashkin says armoured vehicles are being deployed to transfer the children to a safe place. "We must make efforts to protect our children," he said.
