"Kremlin hysteria over peace summit"
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba has given an interview published by Ukrinform ahead of the peace summit in Switzerland. For Kuleba, Moscow needs to understand that the Russian myth of a divided world is at stake.
"We welcome the atmosphere of hysteria in the Kremlin about the peace summit. We see it in their actions and their attempts to prevent the summit. They understand what is at stake: the Russian myth of dividing the world between Europe and America, which supports Ukraine, and the rest of the world, which supports Russia," the Ukrainian minister said.
He is convinced that Ukraine, with its allies, will defeat Russia and that the majority of the world supports the UN Charter and international law. "After all, no one wants to live in a world where aggressors are allowed to attack their neighbours, commit atrocities and seize parts of other people's territory."
"The peace summit will recognise this, strengthen Ukraine's position and take an important step towards restoring a just peace for our country," he stressed.
