Surprise, it's the richest city in the world with 350,000 millionaires

A study carried out by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth ranked New York as the top richest city in the world, ahead of Hong Kong and Beijing.

According to the study conducted by the London-based firm, specializing in investment migration, in collaboration with New World Wealth, New York City is home to a total of 350,000 millionaires, 101 of whom are billionaires. In this global ranking, New York is followed by other cities such as Hong Kong, with 70 billionaires, and Beijing (China), with 68 in total.

Other cities in the top 10 richest cities with the most billionaires are Shanghai (China, 65), London (United Kingdom, 63), Moscow (Russia, 61), Mumbai (India, 56), Shenzhen (China, 54), Singapore (46) and Delhi (India, 37). As for other American cities, New York is followed in order by San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston.
