The day when everything is permitted in Spain
Traditionally, every December 28 is Santos Inocentes (Holy Innocents) Day.
Just like April 1st, when all kinds of jokes and hoaxes are possible, in Spain it's December 28, when you have to watch out from everyone.
As we all know, these pranks can range from silly hoaxes, such as people claiming to win the lottery or fake celebrity news, to more elaborate stunts.
But it's the media who have the most fun. So if you hear that Lionel Messi has decided to finish his career at Real Madrid, that Pedro Almodovar intends to make a remake of Gone with the Wind (tough) or that Rafael Nadal is about to embark on a political career, beware!
