Invited on the set of French news channel LCI, General Michel Yakovleff, former vice chief of staff of SHAPE (NATO) discussed the Russian response to the Ukrainian army's offensive.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that a Russian response would be needed to Ukraine's incursion into the western region of Kursk and that the idea of talks on a ceasefire with Kiev was no longer on the agenda.
To this end, the general replies: "Yes, there will be an answer, it already exists, the Ukrainians are fighting, so there is an answer. But the decisive answer, I'll break you f..., I'll kick your a... and I'll take you back to the border, we haven't seen it yet and poor Peskov, the Kremlin's spokesman, he's having a hard time announcing it. It's not a good time to be a spokesman for Moscow's side these days."
