"He doesn't give a damn about his people's happiness"
Invited on French news channel LCI, General Michel Yakovleff, former vice chief of staff of NATO has his personal opinion about Vladimir Putin's psychology.
"I believe that if a psychoanalyst dissects his character, we'll discover lots of things," says the general.
"During the Second World War, there was an excellent study on Hitler's psychoanalysis which proved to be premonitory in saying that he was going to commit suicide."
"And the best example to which we can compare Putin is Hitler."
For General Yakovleff: "Putin is in a class apart with regards to his coming to power, it's pure power, it's got nothing to do with Russia's prosperity, with the happiness of its people, with the peace and tranquility of its neighbors, it's power in its pure state, it's his motivation, but he's a little lonely."
