Attack on Putin foiled?
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ukraine, with the support of the "English-speaking world" has prepared an assassination attempt on Vladimir Putin.
Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated this on Thursday, based on statements made by Kirill Budanov, the head of Ukraine's intelligence service, in a Ukrainian newspaper. Budanov is on a list of terrorists and extremists in Russia.
Zakharova believes there is no doubt that plans are being forged to assassinate Putin "with the direct cooperation of the regime's Anglo-Saxon masters in Kiev".
