Angry Russian soldier cries our: "Welcome to Hell"
A viral video of a Russian soldier warns potential recruits against going to war "for the money." Many Russians are lured in being promised of a starting salary of around 1,600 euros per month, three times the national average.
Although he has combating experience, the soldier, who wished to remain anonymous, has met many recruits who enlisted "for the money," duly earned, but were killed on duty.
One of them, aged 19, had no idea how to hold, load or disassemble an assault rifle.
The Russian soldier continued:
"For those who seek to become heroes, I can tell you that you are in the wrong place, your heroism will disappear when you enter combat for the first time and see your first corpse. You too can end up among these corpses," he added.
"It is very, very scary. It is more than fear, it is horror," he stressed, adding that on the battlefield, recruits will also have to fight their fear of desertion or capture."
