Polish police rescue Dutch drug courier from sinking car
A 28-year-old Dutch young man was narrowly saved from a gruesome drowning death by police when his car became stuck in floods in Poland.
The Dutchman was freed by police from his vehicle near Brzeg, a small town in southern Poland. But the Dutchman turned out to be carrying a pack of drugs in the trunk of his flooded Volkswagen.
In the trunk, police found a kettle. Several types of drugs were hidden in it. The officers seized a considerable amount of MDMA and several units of THC. After weighing at the police station, the MDMA turned out to be over half a kilo.
The Dutchman was therefore arrested and risks a 10-year prison sentence.
