In Spain, pineapple is a fenzy! Not as a fruit for dessert, but as a subtle communication tool for hearts to be taken. This new 'passion' is invading Spanish supermarkets following a TikTok video.
Tinder and Meetic are of the past. The new must-have is pineapple. In Spain, this fruit is in everyone's shopping cart. As long as it is turned upside down. It's a code that shows that you're single and "available" for a new romance. This trend came from a TikTok video by Spanish influencer Vivy Lin.

Be careful, to show that you have a crush, you have to delicately collide with the other pineapple shopping cart to start a conversation. Obviously, if you buy this fruit for dessert (not to put it on your pizza), remember to put it the right side up or hide it at the bottom of the cart. Otherwise, it risks hitting everywhere ;-).
