Lion sees caretaker as after-hours snack
At a zoo in Nigeria on Saturday night, a lion bit a 35-year-old zookeeper to death while feeding.
This deadly incident occurred at the Presidential Library Wildlife Park in southwestern Nigeria. This wildlife park is owned by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The zookeeper allegedly took some guests after closing time to show how he was feeding the lions. But that went completely wrong. He allegedly failed to close the security doors, and while feeding, he was attacked and bitten to death by a lion. Park staff rushed to the rescue and then shot the lion dead.
