Discovery of lego piece stuck in his nose for 26 years
A 32-year-old American man recently discovered the cause of his persistent breathing problems since childhood: a Lego piece stuck in his nose.
When he was 6, he remembers inserting a piece of Lego into his nostril. Unable to remove it, he tried to extract it by shoving another piece into his nose. That’s when his mother stepped in to remove what she thought was the only stuck piece. However, as The Independent reported, that wasn’t the case.
For years, the man suffered from asthma and sleep apnea. When he recently recalled the incident, his doctor advised him to blow his nose in the shower, when it was humid. That’s how he finally expelled the Lego piece. “I can now breathe perfectly through this side of my nose, it’s fantastic,” he said.
