A $100 billion city…and Nobody lives there
A bit like in a movie…, British videographer Ben Morris (with 814,000 subscribers on YouTube) wanted to immerse himself in the world of a completely abandoned city.
An experience that the 24-year-old will surely not repeat.
Last May, Ben Morris entered with great enthusiasm into the deserted avenues of the ghost town nicknamed “Forest City”. A city truly unlike any other located in Johor, Malaysia.
Originally, “Forest City” was intended for a very wealthy segment of the population. Chinese investors had released a budget of 100 billion dollars (95 billion euros) to build a futuristic city with luxurious and modern housing. All nestled in an environmentally friendly setting, reports Demotivateur. Unfortunately, the project was quickly aborted...
