Hunter finds 3-year-old toddler missing for 7 months
A three-year-old boy disappeared in February from the home of the child's mother's boyfriend in Two Rivers, a city of 11,270 people in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The mother's boyfriend claimed he couldn't find the child after taking a nap at home.
In March, police reported finding the toddler's blanket about four miles away.
On September 7, a hunter found the boy's body in a wooded area, about three miles from where the child had disappeared.
Police have opened an investigation into the child's death. The child's mother and her boyfriend were charged in February with child neglect and obstruction of police.
