Elephant kills Spanish tourist (22) in Thailand
22-year-old Blanca Ojanguren García died on Friday while on holiday in Thailand.
The Spanish from Valladolid was staying there with her boyfriend in southwest Thailand. On Friday, they visited the Koh Yao Elephant Care centre, but things went wrong there when an elephant panicked while bathing. The animal then allegedly struck the woman with a tusk as she walked past it. The 22-year-old Spanish did not survive that blow.
