According to journalist this is where valuable Nazi treasure is buried

A Nazi treasure full of looted art is said to be buried in a mine about 35 meters underground near the German-Czech border. At least that is what Burkhart List (75), an Austrian investigative journalist who made it his life's work, claims.

According to Burkhart, the treasure is located in a wooded area near Deutschkatharinenberg, a place in the Ore Mountains, the mountain range that forms the border between the German state of Saxony and the Czech Republic. According to List, there is an unregistered mine at a depth of 35 meters in a forest area near the Höllenweg that has been converted into an underground depot by members of the infamous SS. According to the former investigative journalist, it contains looted art that was stolen during the Second World War from Hungarian Jews who later died in the Nazi concentration camps.

He analyzed decades of archives and spoke with wartime witnesses to arrive at this finding. But the Austrian septuagenarian is not allowed to dig for the treasure. Local authorities have revoked List's mining permit.

By the way, List wants that "if the treasure is found, everything will be returned to those who were so shamefully robbed", List says at Bild, referring to the fate of the Hungarian Jews.
