Why is Biden already casting his vote Monday?
Current and also outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden is already heading to the polls Monday, unlike other Americans who are waiting until Tuesday, Nov. 5.
However, many Americans can already vote prior to Election Day on Nov. 5. In fact, more than 40 million Americans have already done so by now, The Washington Post reports. And Joe Biden will also vote early. The White House has announced that the president will cast his vote as early as Monday. Early or mail voting has become a lot more popular in the U.S. since the corona pandemic. In fact, more people are expected to vote before Election Day this year than on Nov. 5 itself.
Biden stepped out of the race for the White House to make way for his vice president Kamala Harris.
