Man (25) awakens just before cremation
A twenty-something that got declared dead, experienced a true miracle. He woke up, or rather, came back to life, only a few seconds before he was to be cremated.
The young man had been suffering from speech and hearing problems for some time and his condition was deteriorating rapidly, even forcing him to be admitted to Jhunjhunu hospital in Rajasthan. There, according to Indian media, he suffered an epileptic seizure and died. A doctor then officially declared him dead.
The doctor in question, who thus committed a grave error, began the post-mortem report without subjecting Rohitash Kumar's body to an autopsy. This did not seem necessary to him, so the body was immediately transferred to the crematorium. But seconds before cremation was to begin, the body suddenly began to move again. The young man appeared to be alive and breathing on his own. The twenty-something was then taken to the hospital for a second time, but there he died Friday. So reports The Times of India.
The doctors involved have already been suspended by the hospital pending the results of the investigation.
