Of course, it did not take long for Donald Trump to react sharply to Joe Biden's abandonment in the race for the White House. Current Vice President Kamala Harris is taking up the gauntlet that Biden dropped for the Democrats. But that instils little fear in the Republican leader.

Donald Trump said on CNN that Harris is "even easier to beat than Joe Biden". Biden himself he called "the worst president in the history of our country".

"The corrupt Joe Biden was not fit to run for president and is certainly not fit to serve - and never has been. He only achieved the position of president through lies and fake news," Trump wrote on his own social network Truth Social. "And now look what he has done to our country, with millions of people crossing our border, totally unchecked, many from prisons, mental institutions and a record number of terrorists. We will suffer a lot because of his presidency, but we will quickly repair the damage he has done."

"Who is running the Country right now? It is not Corrupt Joe, he has no idea where he is," it also echoed. "If he can't run for president, he can't run our Country either!!!" And: "It's not over! Tomorrow Corrupt Joe Biden is going to wake up and forget that he got out of the race today!"

'Biden did not have covid'
By the way, Trump does not believe Biden had contracted a corona infection.

"Does anyone really believe Corrupt Joe had Covid?", Trump also wrote on Truth Social. "No, he had wanted to quit since 27 June, the night of The Debate, where he was completely wiped out. That was the big moment in Joe Biden's downfall. That was the moment when Joe was revealed for what he is, an incompetent man who should never have become president." In a later post, it echoed, "Biden never had Covid. He is a threat to Democracy!"
