Man (42) who got pardoned by Trump, killed by police during traffic stop

42-year-old Matthew Huttle was one of about 1,500 people pardoned by Donald Trump last week for storming the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

But the American was shot dead last weekend during a traffic stop in Jasper County in the US state of Indiana.

Matthew Huttle resisted arrest and was carrying a firearm. He resisted the officer who wanted to apprehend him. It came to a fight between the 2, during which the officer fatally wounded him with his firearm.

The Jasper County Sheriff's Office announces that this fatal shooting is under investigation and that the officer involved has been placed on administrative leave. “Our sympathy goes out to the family of the deceased, as this loss is traumatic for those who were close to Mr. Huttle,” he said in a statement.
