Twenty dead in plane crash: only 1 passenger reported to be alive
A plane crashed in northern South Sudan on Wednesday. Twenty people were killed, with only one person reported to have survived the crash. So reports Minister of Information Gatwech Bipal Both on Wednesday.
The plane was supposed to be conducting a routine flight, bringing workers to the city of Juba. But that went horribly wrong. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff near oil fields just five hundred meters from the airport. It is not yet clear exactly what went wrong.
