Kremlin did not yet receive "signals" from US for meeting between Trump and Putin

A week after Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States, no concrete appointment has yet been made for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“It is customary for heads of state to speak about this themselves,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov explained to reporters on Monday. He reiterated that the Kremlin remains prepared for such a meeting and that “the same will, as we have heard it, remains on the American side.” As recently as Thursday, Trump had said he wants to meet with Putin “as soon as possible,” even “immediately.”

So a concrete date and time remains to be seen.
