In 2008, her song 'I Kissed A Girl' (based on a personal experience, she claimed) undoubtedly put her pastor father to shame and earned her the wrath of the puritanical circles, but it also earned her a nomination at the Grammy Awards (USA) and the NRJ Music Awards in France.
Like Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa, Katy Perry has also become a fashion icon. She regularly opts for daring outfits that create a buzz, as she did last month in London, showing off not only her legs but also the work of Burc Akyol, a young graduate of the Institut Français de la Mode (Paris).
For the video for her latest single 'Lifetimes', however, she chose the Catalan brand Desigual, which was launched in the same year she was born. In the video, she shows off a few models from the spring-summer 2025 collection, presented in Barcelona at the brand's anniversary fashion show last June.
