Beyoncé's 13-minute concert cash-in
On December 25, the NFL, the American soccer association, prepared one of its biggest Christmas Day events. The Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans faced off live on Netflix.
Beyoncé was chosen to take to the makeshift stage at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston. In total, the half-time show lasted around 13 minutes. 13 minutes for which, according to the Daily Mail, the American singer was paid $20 million.
Several other sources claim that part of the money was also part of Beyoncé's contract with Netflix for her performance.
Her guests included artists Shaboozey, Post Malone and her 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
It was Beyoncé's first performance since her husband Jay-Z was charged with rape as part of the investigation into events at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' parties.
