Here's how to soothe itchy mosquito bites
Whoever says summer weather automatically thinks of mosquitoes. Cosy barbecues, an inflatable pool in the garden and lazing around, summer has so much to offer. But nothing so irritating at these times to have to constantly scratch because of pesky mosquito bites. If you have been stung by a mosquito, there are several things you can do to seriously reduce the itching. You don't even have to rush to the pharmacist for many treatments.
You can smear a little toothpaste with peppermint on your mosquito bite, you can moisten the mosquito bite and the area around it and scrub with salt or rub lavender oil on the mosquito bite. Experts also recommend grinding up an aspirin, liquefying it a little with water and smearing it on the mosquito bite. Funnily enough, you can also get rid of a lot of itching with fruit. Putting a slice of lemon on your bite for a few minutes or rubbing the inside of the peel of a banana on your bite reduces itching enormously.
